Mandala School Holiday Bazaar & Open House

Mandala School will host their first ever Holiday Bazaar & Open House Friday, November 22, 6 to 8 pm and Saturday, November 23, 10 am to 2 pm, at 738 Main Street, East Aurora. Local and handcrafted items will be available for sale and include baked goods, artwork, holiday ornaments, plush animals and children’s books. All
proceeds will benefit Mandala School and Learning Choices Network, a collaboration of educators and parents working to create, facilitate, and promote alternative opportunities for authentic learning in the local community.

Mandala School will also be open for tours and workshops to include baking classes, tinkering projects, and Q & A with founders and parents. Dr. John Newton, founder of Mandala School, has 40 years of experience in the field of human development. With a B.S. in Human Development, an M.S. in Early Childhood, and an EdD in Elementary
Education along with 30+ years teaching, he knows both the practical and theoretical aspects of development. His primary interest is helping people be more curious, compassionate, and energized.

Mandala School is a not-for-profit educational corporation chartered by the New York State Department of Education to conduct a K-8 elementary, after-school program, and other educational activities. Mandala School provides personalized learning experiences that practice and promote democratic conduct, intrinsic motivation, critical thinking, acquisition of knowledge, community service, and environmental stewardship.
